Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there!! ;)
Not a whole lot here going on. We have been just busy with swim lessons, which Korben loves but they wear both Korben & I completely out. We both pass out right afterwards. The first day he didn't do a whole lot, just held onto me. He tried to "jump" in but instead he would sit on his bottom & scoot until I pulled him in. The second day of class he watched a little boy use his arms to "walk the walls" by himself so Korben started doing that and now that is all he wants to do. I think he likes it because it is the only thing he can do in the water by himself & he is all about doing things himself these days. I do have him go under water a few times right after getting in the water & I am trying to get him to kick & paddle across the pool, he really doesn't care though & only has a one track mind & will scream "walk, wall" until I take him over there. He also screams & has a huge hissy fit every time we have to get out of the pool. 30 mins is just not enough time for him, I think he would stay in there all day if I let him!
Korben's new Mickey Clubhouse towel - kinda hard to tell in the pics but the hood has Mickey ears! So cute! He loves it! He has been using it at swim class to match the cute Disney bathing suit Grandma & Grandpa S. bought him last summer (just now fits.)
He is such a little ham!
Mommy let Korben take some pictures. He took one of Daddy's desk.
Here is down our hallway.
Then we asked Daddy to come pose for Korben. :)
Korben sits up in Daddy's lap before bedtime & drinks his milk & plays with Daddy.
This is his "what do you want?" face.
About to give Daddy a kiss.
Daddy got kisses.
Korben's first day of swim classes!!! These were taken before we got into the pool for the first time.
Holding on to Momma.
Laying on his back.
Loving the water!
Thursday Daddy got to do swim lessons with Korben! Daddy let him walk around the entire Olympic sized pool!
Swimming across the pool.
This past Sat. we went to my friend's son's 1st birthday party (he is one of the ones that comes over on Tuesday's for Mommy's Day Out.) It was outdoors at a park & Korben ran around the entire time. I have never seen him so sweaty!! His hair was soaked like he took a bath! It did not both him one bit though & he had a blast! He would come up to me every once in awhile & come ask for some juice, he drank his juice very quickly & we kept it refilled it with bottled water.
Playing on the playground at a birthday party.
Korben & Aiden playing together in Aiden's new ball pit.
Aiden just so happened to look right at me as he was opening our gifts. Adorable!
There were a few other big kids all standing around in a circle but they had run off by the time we got the camera out. Korben had to go & stand with them all to see what they were doing, it was a funny sight!
Korben all hot & sweaty.
Me feeding Korben a cupcake so he wouldn't get sticky - he just wanted to lick off the icing though!
Korben is still working on the potty training of course. He still won't go poopy on the potty but is starting to go pee more often on it. We bought him some big boy Thomas underwear & he LOVES them! In fact he threw a fit today right after his diaper change & neither Brent nor I could figure out what he was screaming for. Finally when he calmed down a bit I realized he was saying "Thomas underwear" he was mad because Daddy put him in a diaper! He really thinks he is a big boy now! He likes to do everything himself & when we go to restaurants he won't sit in a highchair anymore nor will he even sit in a booster seat because Mommy & Daddy don't do it & he wants to sit just like us. He screams bloody murder if we try to put him in a booster seat so we just let him sit. He has been more & more fussy for us but it is because his molars are pushing through big time. 2 of them finally broke through the gums but they are still pushing up & the top ones are so, so swollen. I feel so bad for him. He will tell us "teeth, owie" so at least we know what is bothering him. Sometimes when he is fussy, I don't think he knows what is wrong. We have been giving him motrin when it is really bad - esp. before bedtime & the Oragel really helps numb it enough for him to calm down, which is really helpful. When we put the Oragel on oneside he will point and say "other side" so we know he is hurting on both sides. His fussiness really wears on me & stresses me out though so we will be glad when this is over!!!
Korben's first time wearing his big boy underwear. No accidents in them so far! But we have only been wearing them around the house for short periods of time. In this picture I asked him to lift up his shirt so I could see his underwear - cute! Oh & when I went to go get the camera to take these pictures Korben ran ahead of me opened the drawer that I keep my camera in & handed me my camera - little smartypants I didn't even know he knew where I kept it! Speaking of smartypants, we started saying that after he named something correctly or said something that surprised us & now after he says something he says "smartypants" it is really cute. I don't think I have gotten it on film yet, will have to try to do that.
It makes me kinda sad to see him looking like such a big boy! I am glad we have another one on the way!
I asked Korben if he needed to go pee & sit on the potty - he said yes & stripped his clothes off in the living room before running to the potty - silly boy!

So cute!! I love your pics! Congratulations hun, for your pregnancy and for your beautiful family! I arrived on your blog randomly and I really liked it! Now it's on my favorites list. I'm a mum of a little boy called Marlow and I really enjoy reading other mummy stories online. Did you already choose the names? I rememer I spent a lot of time chilling out choosing my baby names. If I were you I would choose the same first letter as your first-born... Here a great link http://www.bounty.com/babynames/ Let us know how it's going!! Jo and her little Marlow
